We officially launched our 2026 season with a successful team presentation at the Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre, welcoming riders, partners, sponsors and supporters.

Held at the impressive facility at Sheffield Hallam University, the event brought together the wider Cycling Sheffield community to unveil our full rider line-up for the upcoming season. Guests were introduced to the 2026 squad, heard about the team’s plans and ambitions and had the opportunity to meet the riders who will be representing the team this year.

Our key partner Moda Bikes revealed the team’s new race bike for the 2026 season. The striking machine features a custom ‘Sheffield Steel Blue’ inspired paint design, a nod to the city’s proud industrial heritage and the team’s strong local identity. This marks another step forward in the team’s ongoing partnership with Moda, so thanks to Dave and Maddie for attending.

The afternoon also featured an insightful Q&A session with an experienced panel from across the sport. Former national coach and professional team manager John Herety, Irish Olympian and performance coach Matt Brammeier, former CS rider, James Mackay and Ben Lowe from VeloViewer shared their perspectives on rider development, performance, technology and the demands of modern racing. The discussion provided valuable insight for riders and supporters alike, combining practical advice with stories from across the sport.

The launch event also provided an opportunity to thank the team’s partners and supporters, whose continued backing plays a vital role in creating opportunities for developing riders and helping the team compete at a high level.

With a strong squad, exciting new equipment and a growing network of support, the launch marked a positive and ambitious beginning to what promises to be successful season for us.
