The RAS Tailteann International stage race is the biggest race in Ireland and steeped in history. 5 road stages, between 135-175km. The team ride a great race, and were in the mix every day, finishing, 6th,5th,5th,4th and 11th on stages.
Taylor was unlucky and caught in 2 crashes, but dug in to continue and help his team mates and finish the race.
Along with stage placings, Hartley finished 9th on GC, George 10th on GC, McKay 19th on GC.
Hartley & George were 2nd & 3rd on U23 GC, just 2 seconds behind the winner. We also finished 3rd International team on GC.
The results were fantastic, and the learning experience for our young team is invaluable.
