We were thrilled when Baile Homes confirmed their support of the team in 2021 late last year. Speaking with Rob Hudson of Baile Homes, he explained the interest in supporting the team was driven by wanting to support and engage with the Sheffield City Region community. Whilst the team’s mission is to help young riders develop their careers, we are also committed to supporting the Sheffield community and it’s economy.
CYCLING SHEFFIELD offers partners the opportunity to work towards some of their Corporate Social Responsibilty commitments, and we believe this is what makes the team a viable and interesting marketing opportunity for many organisations. The links the team has to various community initiatives allows our partners to indirectly support and connect to numerous projects aimed at improving the the lives of the SCR citizens.
With the huge increase in participation of cycling across the UK over the last year, the role cycling has to play in relation to various societal issues is more evident than ever. The general acknowledgment of cycling’s great physical and mental health benefits along with the potential to improve transport problems shows how cycling as a sport, leisure activity or mode of transport, is a important part of the UK’s fabric.
