After the bone shaking of The Cicle Classic, we were over in Belgium for a week. Kermesse racing in Belgium is fast and furious. Races start full gas and stay that way to the finish. These races are a real test of form , but also great for improving a riders form. The lads rode well and came a way with a handful of results, heavy legs and the knowledge that their form would be enhanced with a bit of recovery ahead of the Lincoln GP and the other upcoming races. It was Dan’s first experience of racing in Belgium, and it was tough, but he loved it all the same. The lads calculated they had made 460 flat out sprints in three races, those were just the efforts out of corners, not including other efforts to move up or attack.
