Most of the team were at Denby for the Yorkshire Classic U23 race, 125km hilly roads.It proved a tricky race tactically, and we only managed to have 1 rider in the front group of 12. The lads rode well to cover moves and attack, but only George made the front group after escaping the bunch after 20km with 2 other riders, later to be joined by 9 more riders. George was 3rd, this moved him into 2nd place in the series.
James McKay and Max were in Devon for Totnes Stage race. McKay is great form, so Max rode to support him. James finished 3rd in the first 2 stages, and going into the final stage only needed 4 seconds to take overall victory. James attacked with 3km to go and got away from the yellow jersey to take the overall win. Impressive riding from 2 riders up against 6 man teams.
