Despite the weeks extreme weather, which saw the cancellation of numerous races, The Severn Bridge RR went ahead.

The 112km race had started in good conditions, but after 1 hour heavy rain began to fall and would add to the suffering in the cold weather.

The climb and the wind began to take a toll on the riders towards the late stages of the race, seeing groups form and split.

Louis and Dan made it to the start. Louis finished 6th underlining his 5th place last week at The Clayton Velo RR and his good condition. Dan had some bad lucky and came down in a crash. Dan’s clearly going well too, as he chased back into the group and rode hard on the final climb to salvage a top 20 place.A win and podiums are within Louis’ grasp, watch this space.

Over the coming weeks the team will be racing together and we should see all our riders working well and the results will continue to come.

Next weekends racing includes The Outdoor City Weekender, including the Magnificent 7.

Take a look at the links and head into the city if you can for 3 days of great events.
