After a few weeks impacted by illness and injury, we were pleased to take our first podium result at The Ennerdale Circuit race at Hull, with a solid second place for James Mckay. James was in the winning breakaway for the final 30km, but had to settle for second place in the sprint for the finish line. After returning to training just over a week earlier, due to ten days off with covid James wasn’t at his best and all thing considered this was a great result.

The following day Adam Mitchell followed took another second place at The Danum Trophy RR in Doncaster. Adam had been active throughout the race, and eventually his perseverance was rewarded when he broke away with Toby Barnes of the  Wiv/Sungod team with 30km remaining. Adam did a great ride, but couldn’t match Toby’s sprint at the finish. These results will motivate our riders further and we’ll build on them as we start to hit our stride in the coming weeks as key races approach on our program.
