The Klondike GP is pretty much constantly up or down. This does prevent the biggest teams controlling the race completely and allows the smaller teams to get in the action through the  selective course.

We’ve had some illness in the team, and unfortunately Dan, Joe and Harry were not 100% and as the race got going and they struggled.

Charlie rode very well, but this race doesn’t suit his strengths. With 30km to go we had Kieran and Louis left at the front of the race. In the final 20km the pace was forced and Kieran was caught the wrong side of a split. Louis was up there, and in the final 10km escape the group, and with 5km to he was chasing the 2nd small group on the road with 5 other riders. Louis punctured with 2km to go, but still finished 19th on a flat. This is a great result for Louis and the team. This is Louis’s first year racing at this level and only his 2nd race at this level. More to come..
