With no team race this weekend, Joe travelled to Luton to ride the TMG Horizon RR.
This is a tough 160km race on rolling up and down roads. Joe made the first proper selection and was in the lead group of 15 riders by 40km covered. The group worked well, but had to be thinned out in the late stages of the race.
In the finale Joe was in a leading group of 6 riders. Joe timed his finishing effort perfectly to take an excellently executed win.
