Monsal Hill Climb is a sub 1.5 minute (for the fast riders) blast up a steep hill in the peak district. It is an incredible event, drawing huge crowds every year, and 180 competitors. This year was no exception, and the crowds cheered on riders as young as 7 years old, and a pair of riders on a tandem.

Due to illness and injury, we only had George Wood starting. George finished 2nd, with a time of 1 minute 22.2. An impressive result considering George along with his team mates, has been racing across the UK and Europe since March.

Thanks to all those who cheered George and others on.
