The first event of the new U23 Series was held at Denby, on a tough up and down course over 125km. In what proved to be a difficult race tactically, we managed to place James Hartley in the main break of 8 riders. James did a great ride, but lost contact with the leaders with 10km to go as the break splintered. George attacked with 5km to go and finished 7th.
A solid start to series, and some great team work.
